Damped Driven Harmonic Oscillator
Damped Driven Harmonic Oscillator Experiment (EX-9906): In this complete experiment, the spring and mass system is driven with a sinusoidal force and is magnetically damped by induced currents in the aluminum disk. A graph of the amplitude of the oscillation versus driving frequency is shown in real time as the frequencies are scanned.
