Battery warranty for rechargeable lithium ion and lithium polymer batteries

How do I get replacement rechargeable batteries for my PASCO product?

PASCO warrants rechargeable batteries built into new products and replacement rechargeable batteries to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use for a period of (2) years from the date of purchase. It is normal for battery life, defined as the amount of time a device runs before it needs to be recharged, to decrease over time. This is not considered a defect in workmanship or materials. Please contact PASCO Technical Support for replacement battery information.

Note: Replacing lithium batteries in PASCO products should be performed by qualified personnel only. Partial disassembly of the units is required using specified tools. For many of our devices, the circuit boards will be exposed during the battery exchange and proper ESD protection protocols must be followed.

To speed this process, please include the part number of the sensor, interface, or device for which you need the replacement battery.  The part number will start with two letters. If the item includes a serial number (starts with the letter P), please include this as well.  Please include the shipping and mailing information for your school site to help determine the best shipping method.
